Paul Scheepers Architect, Plettenberg Bay architectural practice since 1976

Paul Scheepers obtained a BArch degree at UCT before working for Stauch Vorster Architects in Cape Town & Windhoek and the Corporation of London in England. He set up practice in Plettenberg Bay in 1976 and has offered clients in the Garden Route a full range of architectural services for over thirty years.

A corporate member of The Institute of South African Architects, a member of The Cape Institute for Architecture and a SACAP member, Paul Scheepers has designed a large number of apartments and commercial buildings in Plettenberg Bay and has been responsible for the design of over 100 residential homes.

A Plettenberg Bay town councillor for 12 years, including a term as mayor during 1993 and1994. Paul now chairs the Plettenberg Bay Housing Trust, a position he has held for the past 16 years. The trust has spent over R1,2 million helping Plettenberg Bay communities in need. He also assisted The Plettenberg Bay Municipality in the planning and re-development of Qolweni informal settlement.
